CHART Weather Station Historical Data Download

The CHART weather station data is now available in a comma-delimited file. The files are created each night for the previous day for each weather station. The weather data is stored in compressed format.

The weather data is stored in compressed format. If you do not have an archiving utility on your computer, you may download one here. The uncompressed files are stored in comma separated values (.csv) format. Your spreadsheet application should be able to interpret a file with the .csv extension.

The data files do not contain any column header information. All of the weather data files have the columns in the following order:

To download daily weather data; click the link Weather Data for yesterday's date. There is a link for each weather station that was reporting yesterday. Click on the link for the weather station(s) you want to see. The daily weather data is updated each day at 12:15 A.M. You will be prompted to open or save the file. Please save the file to your pc and then you can open it with any spreadsheet application that supports comma-delimited files. Once the file is opened, some spreadsheet applications will require you to expand the width of the first column to view the date/time field. By default, you will see ####### as the date/time entries. Archived weather data is organized by year, month, and weather station. To download archived weather data click on the Archived Weather Station link. Select a year. Select a month. Select the weather station(s) you want to see. This file will contain all readings for the weather station for the particular month. You will be prompted to open or save the file. Please save the file to your pc and then you can open it with any spreadsheet application that supports comma-delimited files. These files are created based on the weather station being functional and reporting. There may be gaps in the data due to hardware or communications failures. We do not guarantee the availability of weather data for each weather station at all times.
